Principal's Message

Mark Blanton

Dear Esquire Hills Families and Community Members,

Welcome to Esquire Hills Elementary!  We are part of the Central Kitsap School District in Kitsap County, in the Puget Sound region of Washington state and located at 2650 NE John Carlson Road, Bremerton, WA.  As principal, I am proud and honored to serve the students, families and staff of Esquire Hills!

At Esquire Hills Elementary School, our goal is to provide your child with a strong educational program.  Our school has an experienced staff of certificated and classified employees who are committed to strong collaboration and professional development.  We have implemented a school wide system of support which includes proactive strategies for defining, teaching, and supporting appropriate student behaviors.  This is done to help create a positive school environment and to help our students have some ownership in helping Esquire Hills be a place in which all students feel safe and are able to learn.  A variety of activities occur at Esquire Hills, inside and outside the instructional day. Examples include: Future Leaders, Choir, Orchestra, Band, Recycling, ASB, and Chess Club.

We encourage you to be active partners in your child’s education.  This can happen in a variety of ways.  It may be the time you take to read with your child in the evening or looking over their homework, it can be contacting your child’s teacher when you have a question or concern, it can be sharing feedback with us when we are doing something well or when you would like to offer a suggestion.  Another way to be a partner is to attend events at our school which you can find on our school calendar.

Together we can help students build the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that prepare them for college and career, while attaining the citizenship skills of an "Esquire Hills' Eagle."

"I am ready to be a learner, because I am respectful, responsible, safe, and kind.  I am an EAGLE!"

Your thoughts and ideas are important to me--I am often outside in the morning and after school, or you can email me at  I can also be reached at 662-8600.
