We love visitors and volunteers! Please arrange your visit ahead of time by calling your child’s teacher since the class may be having a test or be involved in an activity that would not lend itself to visitors.
As you enter the building, visitors must report to the office to sign in and receive an identification badge.
If you wish to discuss a matter with your child’s teacher, please call ahead of time to make sure that the teacher will be available.
All volunteers must complete a Washington State volunteer disclosure form and be approved before you can volunteer in classrooms. Visit our Get Involved page to learn more.
Student Telephone Messages
In an emergency, the office will be glad to get a message to your child. With nearly 400 students, however, it is very difficult for us to deliver casual messages. We try to make every effort to get messages to students, within reason. Here are some tips to help us:
· Try to call as EARLY as possible. Trying to find a student outside at the end of the day is difficult and takes time.
· Please try to make daycare, transportation, and walking arrangements BEFORE your child leaves for school in the morning.
· Some students become very confused when schedules change often, so try to make a schedule and stick with that.
· Students are not allowed to call from the office, during or after school to make social arrangements.
Thank you for your understanding with this process.
