We're excited to welcome many of you back! We're also looking forward to meeting new students and families!

First Day of School

The first day of school for students in grades 1-12 is Sept. 5. Kindergarten starts Sept. 10. The main office will contact you with kindergarten slow start information and scheduling.

  • Visit our calendar for important dates through the school year.

  • Come to our back to school meet & greet Tuesday, September 4th.

New Student Registration

clipboardStudents can visit their new school and parents can register them on these days:

  • Monday, Aug. 20, and Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 9:00-3:00.

If you need to find out which school your child should attend, please call 360-662-1610.

School Supplies

pencilFind our school's supply list below, or visit the district website to find  all schools' supply lists.

Buses

bus iconWe assign students routes and bus stops based on their home addresses. You can find bus stops and times through our online route service.

TIP: You will need to enter your full and exact address, as it would appear on a property assessment. For example: 1234 NW Mystreet. (Entering 1234 Mystreet or 1234 Mystreet NW would not work).

If your child was accepted as an in-district transfer (from one CK school to another), you are responsible for your own transportation. Central Kitsap residents may request to ride a school bus. You need to reapply each year. Seats are offered on a space-available basis.

Safe Walking

Find suggestions for safe walking routes on the district website in the Transportation section, under Services.

Lunch and Breakfast

You can apply for free- and reduced-price lunch online or turn in a form to the main office. Visit our free & reduced lunch page (under Services) for more information. You must re-apply every year to continue getting free or reduced lunch prices.
